Economic Botany: Ethnobotany meena, k.l. [1]. Traditional ethnomedicinal plants of bhilwara rajasthan india. Rajasthan is one of the largest states and is located in the north western part of India. Geographically, it lies between 23º3' to 30º12' longitudes and 69º30' to 78º17' latitudes. The present study has been carried out during 2003-2005 to document the plants of medicinal importance occurring in bhilwara district of Rajasthan . The study is based on interviews with local tribals living in this region and entirely dependent on the plants occurring around them. Tribals like Bhil, Meena, & Kalbelia are residing in this area. These people and their medicine men and women have valuable informations about properties and medicinal uses of plants. In the present paper an attempt has been made to document the ethno-medicinal plants, being used traditionally by the tribals, their local name, methods of administration and precautions. Informaitons about 31 species, belonging to 35 genera and 26 families have been presented in this paper. Log in to add this item to your schedule
