Sponsor the Botanical Society of America’s Education
and Outreach Forum and we will promote your organization
to the Scientific and Education Communities.
As the global significance of plants continues to grow,
and the public understanding of science declines, plant
scientists and their professional societies are working
to promote botanical and science literacy. The BSA’s
Education and Outreach Forum is in its 6th successful year
of enhancing K-16 plant science education. The Forum provides
a means for K-12 teachers and scientists to come together
to explore novel approaches to integrating plants and authentic
science experiences
into the classroom and to reach out and broaden participation
in biology at all levels.
With a variety of formats from
discussions to workshops and an inspiring keynote lecture,
the Forum is a must for teachers and researchers interested
in making science
accessible to all.
K-12 Illinois educators who attend the
Forum will be able to earn
Continuing Education Units.
Let others know of your commitment to science education.
